Astrachan releases new single “Raging Skies”

Chicago-based artist Ben Astrachan just released his new single “Raging Skies”, taken from his on October 31 released album Signs. Known for blending upbeat, unrestrained Rock’n’Roll with handcrafted indie folk, Astrachan calls his style “diasporic rock” - a heartfelt mix of indie rock roots and folk storytelling.
“Raging Skies” is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit: it carries a warm nostalgia, driven by lively rhythms and strumming guitars that feel both familiar and cozy. Astrachan’s voice wraps the listener in an inviting intimacy, while the chorus is uplifting and straightforward, reminiscent of jamming together with friends. The lead guitar hooks are memorable and stay with you long after the song ends.
Fans of Cat Stevens and Daniel Romano will find Astrachan’s heartfelt, story-driven songwriting, organic instrumentation, and blend of nostalgic folk energy with modern indie spirit particularly compelling.
"Raging Skies” is now featured on the INDIENOXZINE Playlist - follow the playlist to stay updated on new highlights.

ROMES Europe Tour + New Album “Sonic Trash”

ROMES (Raw Overdriven Mind Expansion Systems) is an electronic rock duo of two brothers from Toronto, Canada. Jacob (lead vocals, guitar, synths) and Nicolas (drums) have spent years honing their craft and take full artistic control over every aspect of their project, from music production, mixing, and mastering, to artwork, merch design, and video direction. This independence allows them to focus sharply on their vision, crafting a sound that cuts through the noise.
The duo blends analog chaos with digital precision, creating a singular, high-voltage sound that draws from 90s grunge, electro, industrial, and dance-punk. Their debut album, SONIC TRASH (released independently on November 14, 2025), is abrasive yet polished, electronic yet deeply human, merging DIY experimentation, distorted synths, hard-hitting rhythms, and the punk energy of the bloghouse era.
ROMES’ live shows are a living system of machines, drums, and guitars all locked in feedback, oscillating between pounding riffs and warped electronics. Rhythmically hypnotic four-to-the-floor beats evolve into thrashy rock grooves, producing a visceral performance that works for both dance floors and mosh pits, a perfect bridge between past and future, organic and synthetic.
